Definitely not somewhere I would return. Overpriced for what you get. Send $23 on this including an orange juice that was supposed to be unlimited refills and I got charged an extra dollar on top of the phrase that was listed. Toast was even poor quality. When you take a bite, the entire piece just crumbled. Potatoes are not like those shown in other reviews. These are cheap little tiny, frozen diced potatoes from Walmart that taste like you’re eating french fries. Service was OK. They were friendly, but you can tell their regulars come before you.

After waiting forever at the Delta hotel Marriott in Toledo to acknowledge us, we headed out to a breakfast cafe. Thankfully, we stumbled upon this one! We are so glad we did!!!! Shayna, our waitress, greeted us with an energetic good morning. She promptly gave me coffee and took our order. Here what we got. It was beyond delicious!!! When we were ready to get our check she asked if I'd like a coffee to go! What????? That just sold me on top of already being sold. A large hot coffee was brought to my table. Wowsa! Who does that??? This IS THE PLACE to go for your morning experience. It's a great place that starts your day off right. Hot delicious food and coffee. The prices are very reasonable and you won't regret your experience. Thank you Shayna, for making our day first thing in the morning. I'd give you ten stars if that were an option!!!! Follow up ... We went back the next day after giving the Delta hotel restaurant another chance. It was worse than the first experience. They only had nasty looking buffet food. We went back to Marigold Cafe and had another outstanding breakfast and experience. If we ever have to go back to Toledo and it's near Marigold, we will always choose

We heard good things about this cafe and wanted to stop in. We waited a while for the waitress to come over but she was the only one working. We ordered our food and overheard the waitress telling another first time customer that most of the food there came from Gordon’s (instant turn off). We ate our food and left. I ordered the smash burger. It is not a true smash burger but was okay. Not worth the price but it was okay. The fries were also just okay. My husband got the French toast sandwich and also said it was okay. The cafe is small and the atmosphere is good. I wouldn’t go out of my way to come back but who knows. Also those pickles that come on the burger looked gross.

Little slice of heaven!! Stopped in on a whim, and so beyond glad we did! We got build your own omelet and everything was cooked to perfection. The potatoes we added onion and cheese and the flavor was on point. The best thing I loved was the coffee taste fresh, not typical of lil cafΓ©s. Usually burnt tasting and dirty coffee pot flavoring. Actually the coffee was fresh tasting every cup I had! Outstanding! Even though it's a bit of a drive from home...WE WILL BE BACK!!! possible 90s music bingo spot soon?!

Best chicken and waffles I’ve ever had! It even came with heart sprinklesπŸ’– Everything is handmade, including the batter for the food and I’m not being dramatic when I say it’s perfect. The atmosphere was extremely comfortable and full of the cutest decor. They even had a β€œ bring a book, take a book” bookshelf! My waitress, Jodi, was extremely kind and she checked on me often even thought she had a lot on her plate at once. 10/10. My four year old said β€œ it hit the spot” & I agree. Perfect place for cheap food & diner atmosphere. Can’t wait to go back!!!
